My aloe is doing great… but it keeps leaning. Any time I put a “holder” in it, that leaf gets smooched and dies. What do you all do? Or do I do nothing? Thanks.

It might be looking for sun, try rotating the pot (with the plant facing inside the room) and place it next to a window, the plant will try to get the sun light and rotate it self, whenever it’s the right position and going to the other side rotate the pot often. I do that with all my plants and it works!

U can always try to tie it to a stick or something that’s strong and it will stand up straight not sure if it will hurt the plant or not but another thing you could do is rotate it for it may be leaning forwards more sun :) (hope this helps)

Whenever I do that, the leave it’s leaning on goes mushy.

i notice that my bottom leaves also go smushy and die but that always comes right before new growth, i read somewhere that is very common to happen in nature so as long as it’s just the bottom leaves you should be good, not much help about the stability, are the roots strong enough maybe?

Yeah, the bottom leaves do die off, but the new growth is coming in strong
0 likesI used to keep buying these because they would grow like this and get damaged easy. I’m not sure if it’s specific to this type of aloe but after 4 or 5 plants I was over it and just stopped purchasing. These are more of a pain to me than calathea

It seems to be growing nicely, I’ll just keep rotating it around the sun. Thanks everyone! ❤️
