I just got a snake plant at a flee market for $3 and it seems to be in pretty good condition. The only problem is, there might be some critters living in the soil and I don’t want them in my house. How can I take care of that?

If you don’t want to repot you can use systemic insect control on top of the soil and water it in

I would use mosquito bits on top. Just mix with the top layer of soil and water as normal. Good luck!

I put mine in the tub or sick and basically drown the plant so bugs will drown as well. Then don’t water until soil is dry

I keep mine in a quarantine away from other plants- I have a window in my shower so that’s a good spot for me! Cinnamon works to quickly get rid of gnats
