I’m about to move in with my boyfriend who has cats. Do you have any tips on deterring them from eating my plants?

You can spray the leaves lightly with lemon. My favorite is wrapping tin foil around the pot because cats hate that sht. You can raise the plants out of the way or hang them as well. There’s also cat pheromones that keep them away. Ultimately, just make sure that the plants aren’t poisonous to cats.

Cinnamon is a good trick too! Cats don’t like it, and it helps keep fungus gnats away! You can put a little on the leaves, around the plant or in the soil. I’ve noticed if I put too much in the soil it will eventually get moldy though but it’s never been an issue it’s probably beneficial to the plant in the long run
0 LikesI’ve heard you can keep a sacrifice plant for them lol. Apparently spider plants are the most popular for this since they give cats a psychedelic effect after eating
