Hi! This looks like a Philodendron Brasil right? Recently came into my hands and I was surprised by all of the brighter yellow leaves. Is this caused by bright light? I’m really in love with the dark green/lime green contrast normally present in this plant, so I want to get some more of that. Should I just try putting it in lower light conditions?

It looks so good! And yup that’s a Philodendron Brazil. I have a philodendron Brazil and I’ve noticed that bright yellow leaves are often due to really bright sunlight (like right next to a window). I wonder if pruning would help at all but that’s not my expertise. Putting it a little farther from a window or light source will probably help. Also, if you do have green strips in your leaves, but they are really light, they typically darken as they mature.

Thank you! Awesome, got it. I’ll try placing it in a little less light to see what happens.
