my pinstripe calathea seems very depressed. it was infected with spider mites a few months ago and it lost several leaves, but the infestation has since been resolved and it still hasn’t grown back. any tips on how i can help this little guy?

Love Calatheas, but can’t keep them alive for anything. Good luck!

Same here. I don’t have the patience for them 🥲 But I know that a lot of Goeppertia collectors put them outside in semi shade during the warmer months and they thrive. I’ve however found that Goeppertia orbifolia and Goeppertia warszewiczii are slightly more tolerant than the pinstripe 🤔 One method that you could use is to plant it in well draining soil and use a clay pot, put the pot on a tray and water from the tray. This is very helpful when growing sensitive ferns. And make sure it has LOTS of indirect light. Best of luck!
