I was gifted this pink princess philodendron back in the winter and was told it likes direct sunlight in order to get that pink color. I’m noticing the biggest leaf is slightly curling and starting to turn a yellowish color. Any advice? I almost can’t be sure if it’s yellow or brown.

It looks sunburned from too much sun. I don’t have philodendrons (cause my cat is a nibbler) but I do know they like bright, indirect sun. I would move it into a shadier spot. That leaf probably won’t recover but the others might be okay.

Ooooh no, I hope it doesn’t die. I was told they like direct sunlight so that’s the only plant I’ve consistently kept in the window. Thanks for your advice!

The other leaves from what I can see don’t look as scorched, so I’ll cross my fingers for you!

Looks how mine looked when I was overwatering before I figured her out.

Good to know! I water it according to plants, maybe every 10 days or so. But I’ll also take into account the fact that it was in direct sunlight for much of the day and see what happens. Thanks!

She also likes to be more on the dry side before watering!

I would say definitely bright light but indirect!
