My Song of India started dropping leaves and the stem is shriveling up. I’ve had it about a year and had repotted it about a week before it started dying. I’ve been following the Plants instructions and don’t think I’m over/under watering. Any chance I can save what’s left? Does trimming the stem below the shriveled part do anything? It was perfectly healthy before the repotting, and I initially thought it was just transplant shock.

You might be able to save it. Cut off any parts that are dried or feel squishy when you pinch it between your fingers. Check the dead parts for any signs of pests. I can’t say for sure, but I’ve had experiences where the plant care is fine, but pest bugs killed the plant. Repotting can be enough of a stress that the plant becomes vulnerable to an infestation. Sorry about your song of India, I hope some of it can be salvaged to grow back!

Thank, I accidentally bumped it and the leaves that you see just pulled out. They look healthy so I’m trying to propagate them in water. I doubt it works, but I’m hoping there’s enough of a “stem” at the base of them that they take hold. I then trimmed the main stalk down to where I thought it felt healthy. We’ll see.
