I started noticing these little white dots on top of my umbrella tree’s leaves! What are they?? Could it be some sort of fungal infection?? Any insight would be appreciated thanks!!

This is scale 😩 Remove all the bugs you can see! I usually add the pest to my plant in Planta. Then I get the treatment article. But I have to repeat the treatment to make it work. Otherwise they come back.
1 LikeMealie bugs!!!🤨 I’d them in Hindu rope Hoya. It was a nightmare, as I’d to target the folds of that plant and the soil was also full of larvae. I sprayed the leaves with water to get rid of everything. Then I’d filled the sink with water and added neem oil and a drop of dawn soap and dipped the Hoya in it for sometime. Then after a final rinse I’d set it to dry a bit before I transferred it to fresh soil. It was a time consuming thing but a success and I was able to revive it. Please be mindful of not over soaking the roots to avoid stressing the plant. Good luck! Hope you get rid of them asap with whatever method you choose.
