Recently, my Dragon Scales leaves have been yellowing. I'm thinking it's because I'm underwatering... I'm scared to water more though because of the pot having no drainage holes (and I can't afford to buy another pot). Does anyone have any ideas or recommendations to help keep her alive? (any help greatly appreciated ^^)

You could try adding your own drainage holes to the pot.

Have you fertilized recently? This could also be a nutrient deficiency if the leaves are all turning yellow and pale. Or if your positive it’s overwatering you could place stones in the bottom of its current pot and replant it to add drainage in the bottom.

I bought her I'm thinking sometime in January? I am still new to my planting hobby so I'm unsure when to start fertilizing (probably sometime about now for spring) so that could definitely be it! Though, I think I’m just underwatering her because of the tipping. I'm still figuring out her watering schedule. I appreciate it though, I have two other plants that are having problems and I didn't think of that! I'll definitely get some fertilizer soon then. :)

I’ve been putting more of my plants into pots without drainage holes recently. I find that as long as I tip the pot over and pour out the extra after watering, the plant does fine! Also, it looks like your plant has 5 leaves currently? I’ve heard that Alocasias just don’t like to have too many leaves at once. Maybe it’s somewhat normal.

I didn't know that about Alocasias, thank you! <3

But what’s the point of no drain holes?

From what I understand they have to get kind of mature before they stop sacrificing the oldest leaf for the new one. They also take time to acclimate and will utterly humble you. I suggest you take the prior suggestions as you give yourself time to get the care juuuuuust right. After some time, it’ll find its way back to its former glory. Mine lost all 5 leaves in two weeks when I first got it (I was doing the most). I watered it and then let for a week and came back to a new leaf. After 4 or 5 months, she’s holding steady at 4 leaves…

I’ve notice that plastic containers are way better than ceramic beautiful pots .. so I’d repot in a plastic container and for decorative purposes place it into a beautiful pot.. but your pot def needs holes. It’s prob to wet

I like to pop holes in the containers I can, otherwise I line the bottom with stones and perlite over the stones and then plant normally on top of it. It works really well.
