Hi there! I have a Guiana chestnut (type of money tree) and although it seems fairly healthy (sprouting in many places) I’ve noticed yellow spots like this on some of the leaves and tips of leaves. It gets a good amount of sun - could that be the issue? I don’t think I’m over watering it. Any help/tips would be much appreciated! :)

It looks like it’s burned, but I am unsure, it also might be overwatered, it sort of looks like that too… I’m not quite sure.

Possible overwater..I recently got my first money tree and I have one or two of these spots and I think I overwatered it..It’s definitely not dry (stick finger in soil and I can feel the moisture) I’m ready to switch it to a pot that allows drainage.I’m a beginner lol

When I repotted mine I found in the soil it was bound by electrical tape to get that shape. It seemed the plant trunk was strangled by the bulging shape of it.

Definitely could be getting too much sun.. dont want it to be getting direct sun as it could cause those spots. Brown tips could be a result of your humidity level. I bought a humidifier for mine, a day later i noticed a difference. Also establish a watering schedule, this will be based on how hot/ cold it is in your area they do not like to be overwatered and are drought tolerant plants. Also make sure you got some drainage holes and your not over doing it with soil.
