Can someone help me out? I got this plant a year ago and I’ve never seen the brown leaves. With the flashlight they look very defined. I live in New York, so the coffee plant is facing east and is always on the window shelf. I only water it when the leaves are down and it looks visible thirsty. I had a humidifier for it roughly about 7 months but it really didn’t do anything major….I just repotted it today from smaller pot to bigger pot. Well the flower shop did. Please help If anyone knows the reason.

    Coffee plants like slightly acidic soil and doesn’t like Lime. It might be the pH that’s causing this 🫣 Do you know what soil they used? If you have high amount of calcium in your tap water you should try to rinse the soil with distilled or rain water every now and then to prevent build ups in the soil.

      I’ve also been told that the direct sunlight might cause this. But the sun in New York City last on this plant about 4 hours. Do you think it’s sun issue or no ?
