Do you name your plants? If so how do you pick their names? My Birken is named Susan. She just looks like a Susan to me. My Hoya Krimson Princess is named Princess Buttercup after The Princess Bride. Just curious how you come up with names.
Species is super important for me! I named my money tree “Mr. Krabs” and other plants follow that trend

I name almost all of my plants and I do so by naming them after influential women in my life (mostly celebrities that I love). And yes, they’re all girls, I don’t know why, it’s just instinct for me to refer to them has she/her 😅

I’m new to being a plant mama. Never thought about naming them. Do y’all think that giving each a name is just fun, or does it encourage you to care for them more?

I have 65 plants and they all have names. I can’t remember anything important, but I can remember all of those names! 😂
