I released Lacewing Larvae because I found Mealies on my big pot of Lacunosa. Now the larvae are everywhere and I hate it. 😩

I LOVE green lacewings!! Occasionally, I’ll catch a glimpse of them in my outside garden. And bought larvae for my indoor plants. Personally, the only problem I had was the (seemingly) endless supply of empty husks (I think that’s what it was called?) leftover from the original release. Maybe I didn’t understand the instructions? But the husks littering the top of the soil became a bit of a nuisance after a while and started growing mold, attracting flies…so then I needed more lacewings (this time around I tediously cleaned all the nooks and crannies afterwards, swear there must be a better way!!!!)

I have the husks in my pots too from the last release. Think I’m just going to shake the pots over the garbage to get rid of them.
