Thinking about buying this Japanese maple plant but I’m afraid that it will die because I’m going to make it a indoor plant but aesthetically it’s beautiful and a powerful statement piece for my apartment. Thoughts? Should I do it? 200$ I’m willing to burn on such a piece of art.

0 Me gustaPersonally, I wouldn’t. If you have the dedication and space then you could. During the fall/winter I would move it to a sheltered area outside if you can. If you do decide to buy it then I wish you the best of luck!

0 Me gustaThen unfortunately I’m not sure if it would be a good fit. They require dormancy period or else they won’t be healthy, look good, or survive indoors. It definitely sucks not being able to have the right conditions for a plant but definitely do some research and see if you can find something else you like :)

I would not buy that unless you can duplicate exactly what they need outdoors which usually you can't. Let us know what you're going to do.
