Hi plants friends!. 👋 Every plant site/app I check out is giving me a different begonia name. Is this a lucerna or maculata?? Please help me identify, I love her dearly ❤️

      I asked ChatGPT and Gemini and Planta and they’re all giving me different names. When one of them gave me lucerna, i google searched and they looked very much like the lucerna over the angel wing

    Your plant appears to be a lucerna. It has wide, ruffled leaves and small silver dots. Maculata leaves are narrow with large silver dots. I pulled these two pictures from a quick google search to show the difference. The flowering plant is a maculata, the non-flowering is lucerna.

      I was thinking the same thing, the lucerna looks exactly like what I have. But every time I tried adding it to the Planta app it would tell me it was the maculata. Your comment gave me the reassurance I needed to call it the lucerna ☺️
