I have three monsteras growing like crazy. Should I put a big moss pole in the middle and Velcro some of the big stalks so it starts to grow up and not out? Also, none of mine have aerial roots really, is that weird?

    You definitely don’t want to tie the petioles down to anything as that will damage the plant, you only want to put ties on the actual nodes/main stem. The petioles are meant to be able to move freely as the plant adjusts to changes in environment and tying them down causes them to snap themselves or dig into the tie causing severe damage. Some people get away with it for a while with no issues but it’s more of an eventuality not a maybe

    It’s not uncommon for monsteras to have no aerial roots it usually means that the plant is more focused on growing another part of the plant like leaves or roots you should start seeing some soon!
