The soil isn’t getting enough water to be thoroughly moistened.

Try the chopstick method every day until you get on a watering schedule for these plants. chop stick method: stick the chop stick in the soil, if it comes out dirty, the plant does NOT need to be watered, if the chop stick comes out clean, the plant DOES need to be watered.

But everywhere I see it says that you shouldn’t water your plants too much. I’m so confused

Yes, you shouldn’t…. It’s okay to be confused, it takes a while to understand plants, I am still learning as well. But watering them too much is different from giving them the amount they need. Some plants love to have moist soil constantly, but not soggy. Moist soil is not super wet, and not dry. Moist is not too wet and not too dry. It has the right amount of water for the plant to survive. Try the chop stick method every day, and if the chopstick is clean (meaning it needs water) try bottom watering, this way you know how much your plant wants. Basically leave you plant in a shallow container of water and allow the plant to take in the water from the bottom through the drainage holes. If the plant absorbs the water quickly keep refilling that shallow container.

Oh that’s amazing! Cause I do water the plants from the bottom. My issue is that initially, so many roses were blooming but now they’re all drying up and not one new flower has bloomed :(

This is an example of bottom watering

Usually this means there isn’t enough soil or the soil is actually hydrophobic! Bottom watering will help solve hydrophobic soil, but if you water too often it will cause root rot. If the plant is from a big box store they usually use cheap peat that doesn’t hold water well or it’s too root bound and the small amount of soil isn’t allowing the plant to get enough to drink. When you water, DROWN it or bottom water it until the top is moist. But watering to close together is what will cause overwatering. I suggest taking it out of the pot to inspect the soil and root ball, if it’s root bound upsize that bad boy 1-2 inches larger than the size of the root ball, gently loosen it and pop it in the pot and water it to help it take the transition. I also recommend a potting soil/perlite, and orchid bark mix as most plants will like it. But you should research your plant to be sure on soil preference.

What’s confusing? I’d be happy to try and explain better.

One thing I can tell you is that flowers in the house will need lots of light, so a grow light is a must
