It looks like it’s getting too much water or too little light to cause the yellowing leaf. The sun angles and sun intensity changes. Plants get weaker sunlight and less of it this time of year. Try moving the plant closer to the sunlight or add a grow light. The plants use less water this time of year with shorter days and the growing season ending. The unused water in the soil can lead to root rot as well. Check the roots. Don’t water by a schedule even when the schedule previously sustained the plant during the growing season. Verify the soil is completely dry and the plant shows signs that it’s thirsty before watering. 🪴🍀

0 J'aimeYes and guess too late now, but next snake plant, use gritty succulent soil. And I double the suggestion to only water when completely dry.

0 J'aimeSo I just got a snake plant recently. A family member gave it to me. She said that she usually waits about a month in between each watering and when we repotted it together, we soaked it (with its soil) in a bucket of water for several minutes. I’ve had it for a little over a month, haven’t watered it but it’s thriving. Mine is about two feet tall and 4-5 feet away from my window. Hope this helps ☺️
