    It doesn’t have a uniform shape and thickness of scale. Try wiping or scraping them off. Check for legs or scale babies underneath. It could just be sap used to heal a spot bitten or damaged that dried. 🪴🍀

      Thank you! I tried picking them off and they were really stuck on there. I ended up using a safety pin to be sure and didn't see anything bug-like, so hopefully we're in the clear 😅

      Then, is probably dry sap. That’s good since scales multiply very fast. 😁
