You can look at plant history to be sure. Maybe you’d need to set up a custom schedule for it. I’ve never had those.

I say always question Planta - they’re usually right, but questioning and reaching out to them is how the app gets better! 🌱

Also, when you change the watering schedule, Planta considers you to be the expert so it will adjust

I have several and Planta has them scheduled every 3 to 4 weeks. This time of year I water about every 2 months, winter every 3 months. I don’t have a true schedule, I water when they feel soft. The large one just flowered a few weeks ago.

What soil do these buddies like? I have a cactus and succulent mix that I think it right…river rocks on top.

I use the same recipe that I use for my Echeveria, Jacks Gritty Mix and about 10 to 15% regular potting soil.

What age is your oldest, biggest one there?

Not sure. I’ve had the three larger ones less than a year. Bought from a great local lady who specializes in cacti and succulents. I think she said the one with the flower was over five years old at that time. Her greenhouse is amazing to see and she does the work with only a little help from family.

I find my plants get overwatered if I just blindly follow Plantas advice. I have to check first and ensure the plant is dry enough. I usually end up snoozing a few times at least

Seems like Planta doesn’t always get succulents right. Compare the advice here with a good Google search and maybe set up a custom schedule. My indoor plants always seem to really dry out up to 3-5 days before Planta sez to water, and one is a Monstera so I set her up with her own sched that’s just a little different. Try it, you can always go back to Planta’s advice if it’s scary. Good luck! She’s adorable.

I’ve set a ton of reminders on my Alexa device, seems to work so far…

Make sure that you have all the plant information added. When my reminders were coming too soon, some information was not completed. Also as someone mentioned, ALWAYS check plants before watering. Planta is a reminder and should not be followed blindly without checking.
