For anyone who struggles with Monsterra root rot, I wanted to share what I found at a local plant store! It’s called Molly’s soil mix and my monstera roots are so healthy now after having root rot previously 😭 Has anyone used this mix as well? I’ve heard chunky mix is best so before attempting to make my own I wanted to test this out! Curious your experiences if so! (This is about three weeks post repot!)

I use Molly’s for all my aroids and it works really well. I add a little more pumice to it to increase the drainage, but overall a very good mix

My monstera is loving it, as is my Hoya rope plant!

I have heard super good things about it, especially for people who don’t care to mix their own aroid mix. I wish I saw it in stores I’d love to try it!

I LOVE this mix! I bought a bag of the Molly’s Tropical Mix off amazon that I use for almost all of my plants! They absolutely love this soil and put out new shoots/leaves ever since I repotted them in this! ⭐️ 10/10

I use it on my plants w moss poles mostly! It’s great! It’s slightly harder to tell when it’s dried out cuz I use a skewer anyhow!

I use a chunky mix for most of my plants and my Monsteras love it. I use Orchid bark, Perlite, Earthworm castings, and sometimes pumice.
