just got my first few plants. can anyone recommend how to find the right fertilizer and soil for each plant - or a basic good fertilizer? side note, is fertilizer even necessary? planta says yes but I am unsure.

stonedfruuityou can get by without it, but fertilizer/plant food will definitely make your plants happier, greener, and grow more. theres a lot of different info on the internet about finding the right npk ratio for your particular plants. i use the Easy Peasy Liquid All Purpose Indoor Plant Food from amazon. its cheap and works well enough. if youre willing to splurge though the drops by happyhappyhouseplant on instagram have made the most noticeable difference to me. hope this helps!
