All I know is that they hate misting! Don't use a mister for humidity, try a humidifier instead :)

They like warm temperatures, 60 to 80°, high humidity, and I will have to disagree with the misting selection misting is fine, also a pebble tray or a humidifier would improve humidity. Keep them evenly moist and never standing in water. I think I would water when the soil is dry to an inch or two and then soak it good drain it and leave it till the next time. They like bright indirect light and can even tolerate a little bit of East Sun. Yours is a beautiful plant I would periodically wipe the leaves down so the dust isn't blocking the light. Those big leaves can collect a lot of dust. In the nice weather even a gentle shower is good. I would fertilize during a growing season so from April to August or September in Iowa. Spider mites mealy bugs and fungus gnats are the most common pests so keep an eye out for them. You might even want to give it a regular preventive treatment of something like horticultural oil or garlic water.

いいね 1件Weird tip, but I heard from another plant friend that if you give your fiddle thing a good soft shake every day or so for about a minute, it helps the trunk grow thicker and stronger. It kind of simulates the wind in a way, making it want to be more sturdy as it grows.
いいね 1件Basically pick a spot where you want it and DONT move it 😂 they really hate change and are very dramatic. It will probably drop a bunch of leaves due to the change of environment but that’s okay, they will grow back! Mine is thriving in a north window with low humidity (due to winter and furnace running) but I think it has just adjusted to my space.

And don't put her in a West or South facing window, use distilled or filtered water and let her be and don't touch her too much.
