Maybe show a picture of the whole plant. I personally have mine under a Grow line for 12 hours on the lowest setting. And I’ve literally had a propagate it three times. Also monitoring is a big issue. Almost let it dry out.

It looks like that plant might be mature enough to have been put there. But it didn’t fully grow there is that correct? So what you have as a mature plant in a dark spot so of course they cannot push out a new baby leaf. Maybe you can put it on a stand lift it up a little bit because it seems to be light above it is that also correct?
0 Mi piacei have to keep it in the bathroom with the lights off most of the time so the cat doesn’t eat it and get killed. would it b better if i let the plant outside some?

I don’t know where you live so definitely look at the plant app to see if it’s something that can go outside. I have two cats myself. Overtime they’ve learned not chew on my plants. So I’m never having to worry about that. Can you put it on a plant stand to lift it up higher? If you have a place in your house that gets great sunlight then maybe get a plant stand high enough for your cat won’t get to the plant. But obviously your plant is not doing well in that area.
0 Mi piaceIt could potentially be suffering from lack of light - I saw in the comments you mentioned it was in your bathroom, do you have a big window that gets lots of light pointed at the plant?
0 Mi piaceIf you have to leave it in the bathroom you need a grow light. Especially if you’re turning the light off in the room. She will eventually die otherwise. I have three cats that will chew on my plants from time to time. They get sick and throw up and won’t do it again for awhile. They are slowly learning. 😂😂 Godspeed! 💚💚
