Should I trim this guy. She’s just getting mighty tall. I have her under a grow light which she seems to like???

    Just pinch off the very top baby leaves

    These plants are difficult. Often used for terrariums. Early on they need to be pruned or they get leggy as you found out. You want the plant to be bushy not leggy. I would take a cutting from the top to propagate to start. And then I would trim that stem back to about 4 inches from soil top. Propagate future trimmings and repot them back into the same pot. I know most people would have trouble cutting it back that short but that’s what it needs to get a nice shape. I’ve cut them all the way down. They will branch out where you cut.

      You’re going well so far with this difficult plant. They usually drop leaves and die from low humidity. I would also suggest a brighter grow light. That may help lessen the spaces between the leaves. Have fun.

    My pink ones don’t propagate as easily as my white ones. They take MUCH longer to produce a root. Just be patient. You’ll get there eventually. I’ve had one in my prop jar for the last 3 months and she FINALLY decided to grow some roots. You’ll get there!
