    I have one that's about a year old and a lot bigger and it only shed it's lower leaves when it had mealy bugs but yours is so tiny I'm sure it doesn't

    I believe it’s actually a lack of humidity. I have one that did something similar and I put it in a room that has 50% humidity compared to the 30% humidity it was in and it just took off like it’s grown probably a good 4 inches in the last two months.

    Would check for spider mites - see if you can find tiny white dots and very fine webbing where the branches meet the stem
