Throw a succulent in the mix! I personally hated succulents until I found some that grow big and it scratched that foliage itch. Definitely recommend either a dwarf jade or an African milk tree!

Right, once you start you gotta at least commit to the collection a little bit… can’t just have one or two lonely ones lol

Definitely some type of syngonium and a trailing plant. I recommend a purple heart. With a syngonium you just can’t go wrong, a fast grower and beautiful foliage with sooo many colors. Also maybe some type of cactus, i always recommend a lady finger cactus because they grow quick and produce a lot of pups.

i Have a succulent that’s also a trailing plant that may be good for a wide dish as well. It’s called a pink ice plant. They are very interesting because they are succulents that grow on the ground, so propagation is easy with them.

You could try carnivorous plants. They’re really fun to take care of and can control pests near your plants :)

Oooo yes! Eventually. They tend to me more advanced plants with regard to care, yes?

Mm not much. For my Venus fly trap I just keep it in a tray of distilled water up to 1-2 inches and put it in direct sunlight. Most of the time near my plants it eats enough fungus gnats (I’m working on that) but you gotta make sure to only give it one, maybe two bugs every 2 weeks.

It’s very thirsty though so I usually put it up to 3 inches of water so I don’t have to refill it for a day or two
