I have this almost 8ft foot I think mini monstera she started off at 2ft around a year and a half- 2 years ago she has absolutely gone OFF this summer. It seems like every time I looked at her she grew another 3 inches and she constantly had a new leaf popping out butttt as summer ends she has lost 4 leaves within a couple weeks only at the base. Her water has been normal and everything same with sunlight except for summer kinda slowing down. I really really really don’t want to lose this plant as it’s been my biggest pride and joy and the fastest growing plant I’ve ever had. I need help do I chop her (even saying that breaks my heart) or what do I do?? She’s starting to look bare at the bottom. Is there anyway to make her look better at the base?? And if I do need to chop her how do I do it where do I do it and so on. I need to do something with the very top anyways as it’s now outgrown the window. Thank you all sorry for how long this post is lol.

    Are you regularly fertilizing? I don’t pay for premium. I do check each plant’s fertilizer recommendation on the plant info tab on this app and make reoccurring reminders on my phone to fertilize. You can try to make little cuts to stimulate new leafy growth towards the base.

    I would chop some end cuts off and root then to plant them back in the base of the pot.

    I just chopped mine. She was past six feet, and since she was sitting on a table, ahe was touching my ceiling. A couple of days later, she was pushig out new shoots near each of my cuts.
