Hey guys! I’ve had an amaryllis for the last four years, but not once has it bloomed. It’s only ever grown the leaves and not the flowers. I let it have a dormancy period and everything too. Is there something I’m doing wrong?

    Do you know what kind of bulb you have? Waxed amaryllis bulbs: These are typically intended for one bloom and are unlikely to rebloom.

      Not sure, it came in one of those store bought ones in a box but it didn’t say. It’s super weird because it never bloomed even the first time

    Wax amaryllis bulbs you don’t plant or water. When you put the plant in dormancy what temp did you keep it at and for how long?

      Oh I don’t think it was wax then! It said to plant and water. For the dormancy I put it in it for fall and winter and brought it out in spring and then the temp was room temp
