I am leaving town tomorrow for Thanksgiving and will be gone for more than a week. Should I water all of my plants before I leave or will that be too much water for any of them?

    Yea I think it’s a good idea

Depends on the type of plant(s) and when they need watered next. If I'm going somewhere and my usual plant sitter is unavailable, I prefer underwatering for all my plants because root rot is a pain

Thank you. I’m concerned about that. Watering schedule has decreased since summer, so some plants haven’t been watered in several days, but others were watered this past week. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I don’t have a plant sitter

If you haven’t watered them in the past week then I’d say yes, but if you have any aloe or cacti or succulents or snake plants or zz plants it’s best to just leave them be

All depends on the plant. You can use those watering sticks/wands for any that you concerned for. They slowly release the water only as the soil needs to rehydrate
