i got a new toothpick cactus today named ophelia (o-feel-e-a) because when i was cactus hunting she poked me like she wanted to be taken home so welcome to the family girlfriend!

    cute! i’d pull the plastic flower off — i’ve seen them cause weird rot/mold

      😂 they can be convincing if you don’t know — now you know and I bet you won’t be fooled again! I also bet this has its own beautiful little blooms with the right conditions

    My mom bought a cactus like that with a fake flower glued on. I stopped by one day, happen to notice it and carefully ripped it off. Then the cactus actually flowered soon after lol
