Hi guys, I’ve been a plant mom for about two years now but sometimes I still feel like a beginner because I’ve always had inside plants however I do have a few plants that are outside now and I was wondering if every time it starts pouring down raining should we move them inside like does everyone do that with their outdoor plants because my fiancé and I have been doing that and it’s been raining so much in our town the past week.

I have hard water. I like it when my plants get rainwater since it’s better than my chalky tap water. I have mostly hoyas outside. I don’t move them because the soil has excellent drainage since the soil is a chunky mix with no peat moss or sphagnum moss. The worst rain we had was three days and nights of heavy tropical storm rain. I moved some plants that started to yellow from excess water since they had peat moss in the soil. I have older large 18” wide pots that I only move into the garage or cover with wool shipping blankets for 1 week each winter when the temperature drops too low. I’m in zone 9, South Texas. 🪴🍀
