I picked up this Janet Craig discounted from Lowes 5 days ago. It looked alright, only a couple of spots. They had it in a self watering pot. I've not watered it. I'm assuming it's blackened in the center because over water. As I'm repotting, the roots seem fine. Is there anything else I can do? Is there any hope for it??

    You have to cut away all the black leaves or trim it off, allow the soil to dry out before refilling the reservoir
