I’ve had this aglaonema for about 3 months. It arrived with the rolled up leaf, which hasn’t unfurled at all during this time. Any thoughts on what it may need? The plant is currently under a grow light 12 hours a day.

Humidity. You could try lightly misting the plant in the morning once a week. Otherwise you could run a humidifier.

0 LikesMost likely culprits are light and humidity levels. Usually aglaonemas tolerate normal household humidity levels really well, but when I have a leaf that won’t unfurl, adding humidity helps. I’d also check how much light the plant is actually getting from the grow light by using a light meter. You can download a free app on your phone or buy one. The app isn’t as reliable but will get you close. I’d aim for it to get somewhere between 300-500 foot candles for 12 hours each day. If it’s not getting enough light, the plant won’t have the energy to put into unfurling the leaf. Other possible causes could be lack of nutrients if you’re not fertilizing (but if you are using fertilizer it’s probably not that) or stress from under or overwatering. I like to water mine when the soil is 50% dry.
1 LikeI actually have the super fancy light meter from House Plant Journal. It’s a bit pricey, but I highly recommend it!
1 Likegood to know! I have a cheap Amazon one but really want an upgrade
0 LikesI've found mine haaaate being over watered and will pitch a fit pretty much immediately. If the soil is currently moist, consider letting it get a bit drier than usual before watering again. That said, yeah, could just need a little more light.
