I was recently gifted this Peperomia caperata, thinking it would be the same as my Peperomia obtusifolia- not much complaining. Let me tell you, this is the most expressive plant I’ve ever met! The second he needs water he absolutely just flops over, looking like he’s about ready to die, then a few hours later after being watered he’s the happiest he’s ever been! What a drama king
I have one ( my favorite look wise) but I cant keep it alive. Ive chopped the top off to try to save it. Any advice on soil, light etc. indoors Thanks in advance.
0개 좋아요 Make sure you get something well-draining for soil. Normal potting mix with a little orchid bark and/or perlite mixed in has been working well for me. I end up just watering when he gets floppy but that actually coincides with when the soil is dry at least halfway down. Peperomia are more succulent than you think, so make sure it’s getting bright indirect light. Very bright. I hope it grows back!
