Guys!!! How can I encourage this leaf to open on my pink princess? It’s been months of her being shy! 🙈😂🫶🏻🙏🏼

    Is it near a cold window? They really slow down around 55F and that may just correspond to winter (if that’s true for you).

      There likely is a draft from the window, it’s been -31F here in Ontario! 😅 But I have a fireplace going all the time, so it is warm in this space!

    Maybe try moving it to a warmer spot for a while if you want the leaf to open. I live near Seattle and right before winter one of my outdoor monstera put out a new leaf that just sat there for months without coming out. When I moved the plant into a small greenhouse with a heater, the leaf unfurled in just over a week!

    you could also try misting it a few times a day or adding a humidifier next to it to help it open up more!

      Ohh good idea! I have a humidifier, so I can try that as well. I have a mister too! ☺️🙏🏼

    Madison makes a good point! Humidity and temperature go hand-in-hand here. Maybe try a combination of the two if you can. If you don’t have a humidifier, put the plant on a pebble tray in a warmer location for the same effect 🙂

      Perfect! I have a humidifier, and I’ll use that maybe right below it! I am always worried about light, so hopefully she will be okay if I move her! ☺️🙏🏼
