Found this bug on my succulents and I have no idea what it is! Can anyone help identify it? Is it harmful to my plants?

No idea but I would imagine regardless of if it’s harmful or not, you probably don’t want more of those hanging around. Are the succulents near a window or door? Do you top or bottom water those plants? Top watering plants can attract bugs.

This is a type of assassin bug. They come in many cool and gnarly forms and colors. They are beneficial insects and fantastic for the ecosystem but…they can and sometimes bite so not something you want inside the home. Still I would never kill such an insect. I’ve seen them in my garden many times and just let them be. If it somehow made its way inside, I would probably find a stick or something to safely relocate outdoors.

I agree ^ if it’s inside you should not kill it and put it outside ❤️
