Does anyone have something on why my blueberry and BlackBerry plants haven't grown at all for months
No
1 j'aimeAre they still alive?
1 j'aimeYes
1 j'aimeIDK maybe check the roots
1 j'aimeIt’s pretty hard to bring a plant back when it has no leaves because that’s its main wave of getting energy to grow
3 J'aimeOkay thanks
1 j'aimeGood luck
2 J'aimeLooks like the pots are way too big
1 j'aimeThese will do best receiving full outdoor sun, they are not suited to grow and thrive indoors.
3 J'aimesometimes when the weather is dramatically high or low, they can grow dormant so maybe it’s that? someone also said once a plant has no leaves, it’s really difficult to bring it back, i have blues and blackberries too, they’re tough
1 j'aimethey need to be outside. they need at least 8hrs of direct sunlight, and that isn't really possible indoors without very expensive lighting
1 j'aimeThey were outside I just didn't want to get chased by wasps that are by my door
1 j'aimeohh ok LOL, did you buy them bare-root? sometimes plants will go into shock when transferred, or they could be trying to establish strong root systems before growing leaves.
0 J'aimeEek. I'm not fully educated on berries but I know they want the soil acidic, around 5. Like others said strong lighting too. Goodluck with them! My fingers are crossed for ya.
