I am in Zone 7. I’ve looked at the forecast and late next week it will be in the mid 40s at night. Highs in the high 70s/low 80s for the foreseeable future. Is it too early to transfer my plants outside? I’m worried about those 2 colder nights.

I would hang on. I’m in zone 8 and we’re supposed to have frost tonight and tomorrow. You just never know. (Last week it said warm and sunny all week) I would hang on till May.

I probably will wait after thinking about it some more. I don’t want to hurt my babies, they have survived inside this long!

Yeah, I always try to error on the side of caution. Doesn’t hurt to wait a few weeks, and then you won’t have to worry it getting randomly cold one night. And I’m not sure how it is where you live, but in the spring here, we have the windiest evenings!!

I’m in Oregon and the wind has been insane! We usually get afternoon/evening wind in the summer coming from the coast. I only live about 50 mins from the coast. But we usually don’t have strong winds during the spring like we have this year!!

I also live in zone 7 and I have had my plants outside for about a week, I obviously bring them back in when the temp is pushing the low 50’s at night. So far so good

My sister also has hers out. My knockabout roses are out but still in the containers. Trying to decide about planting them. I may wait just til the weekend because that’s when the colder weather is coming. Glad your plants are well!

I had put my tomatoes and cucumbers outside and when a frost was coming I would cover them in the morning I take off the covers. At 40 even 38 they did fine without the cover. I’m in growing zone 8B. 40 is not enough to kill it it’s like putting them in the fridge. But one thing is that I had some in my green house and they got huge. But the ones outside are smaller but not that much by an no h or two. They have been there since The end of February
