Succulent Help! I just inherited these little guys and have never tackled succulents before. How often should I water and how much? Any advice is appreciated. TIA.

    I’ve had relatively good success following Planta’s watering schedule with most of my succulents. You don’t wanna water too often but water well with fast draining soil when you do. They just need a ton of light to not get leggy.

    As my plant friend says “drown that hoe!” Lol They will plump up and then I leave them for a month sometimes 2 or until their leaves either get wrinkles or they fold easily like a taco when you check them. They’re pretty hardy. I don’t really go by this app to water my succulents or any of my plants now actually because sometimes it can cause you to over water or under water them.

    For any non-spiky succulents I find it works well to give the leaves a little pinch now and then and water them once the leaves get squishy
