So I ordered two tissue culture plants 2 very rare monsteras and have no idea what to do when they come I’ve watched so many videos on what to do but if anyone has any tips for best growth and progress drop your tips and tricks!

    starting them in bright direct and getting them use to direct light is how they get huge and fenestrated leaves. and a pole of some sort is necessary. there’s not too much else, provided you watched many videos

      I just wanna be prepared cause I spent a lot of money on them so I don’t wanna f anything up I just didn’t know if anyone had tips on how to make sure they were growing correctly cause they are gonna be maybe an inch when I get them and I’ve never grown plants from that small before or handled tissue culture either

      make sure you wash ALL the agar off.. i made this mistake and 310$ just poof.

      Do u use peroxide or not? I’ve seen so many people use neem oil or rubbing alcohol so I just need to know everything😂

      i now use distilled water with a little iso— like 3/10ish

    Rinse off agar well, then plant in soil with dome on top. Keep moist but not soggy. After 2 weeks poke holes in dome or slowly allow air in. Make holes larger every week or add more holes so it can adapt to the regular environment. Then pop off dome when the plant gets too big to be inside the dome or around a month later. Keep humidity up by misting plant every few days
