My Porcelain Flower Hoya has not bloomed in almost 2 years. Trying to decide if I need to repot it? Could that be preventing flowers?

What do the roots look like? Do they look like it’s ready for a bigger pot?
1 j'aimeI second Nina - take a look at the roots. Seems like a lot of plant for that pot.
1 j'aimeThe leaves look great in this Hoya Carnosa. Hoyas can grow big in smaller pots. Change to a larger pot if you want more growth or it looks like roots are blocking drain holes. Hoyas can go years without blooming. You can increase the odds of blooming by giving it more light. A grow light within a foot of it running 12-16 hours will help. I had to put mine in 6 hours of direct morning sunlight to get many of them to bloom. I had to be consistent with fertilizing every 2 weeks with 50% diluted fertilizer with SuperThrive plant vitamins added. I also had to water as soon as the soil dried out especially while blooming. It’s easy to let hoyas stay dry a little longer than other tropicals because their leaves store more water. I made sure I waited until the chunky mix was dry. Then, immediately watered and fertilized. Some of my first blooms from last summer are shown

1 j'aimeTry these hoyas for a higher chance of getting peduncles and blooms. These are heavy bloomers in order of performance and length of bloom time: 1. Hoya Multiflora - Mine has not stopped blooming regardless of the light/humidity/temperature. It bloomed in the delivery box, in mostly shade, and while covered in aphids twice! It bloomed through winter 3ft from a south window and while dehydrated. It’s still blooming now! I have a 6” starter plant and that one bloomed too when I brought it inside for winter.😁 2. Hoya Nummularioides - Blooms like a champion in September and October when others have stopped. Abundant and long lasting sweet flowers appear about ever 2” on the vines. My small rooted cutting bloomed. 3. Hoya Lacunosa no caps - Lacunosas bloom well, in general. The plain non splash, non variegated version is less costly and one of my prolific bloomers. It sun stresses to a brick red with light veins. 4. Hoya Heuschkeliana - The plant was two year old and put out blooms almost every inch that lasted all summer. Smelled like butterscotch. 5. Hoya Krohniana - The Super Silver variety bloomed all summer and was low maintenance. The Hoya Krohniana Black started blooming late fall when I bought it. 6. Hoya Mathilde - I have several in 2” and 3” starter pots that bloomed last summer.
