Just got this beautiful snake plant today from a kind neighbor in my local buy nothing group. I’m so excited! Step one repot into a pot and keep together or should I separate? She has a little baby growing on the side too. She is kind of big. 😍💚💚💚

The snake plants love to be crowded together in the pot from my experience. I would not immediately repot, give it a couple of weeks to get over the shock of moving and new light situation, etc. when repotting I would leave them together but in a little bigger pot and don’t use miracle grow, they don’t need as much water as other plants so something well draining or for succulents. Water it very well after repotting then let all the soil dry out before watering again. I hope this helps!
좋아요 1개 The container it’s in is a bucket though that I used for transport. She gave it to me in Walmart plastic bag with no container. She wanted to keep the container. It’s pretty root bound. I think it was in a 7 in pot from what I can tell by measuring the soil diameter. So I need to put it in something. I found this great pot yesterday at the thrift but it’s a much bigger than the pot it was in. It’s about 12 inches. I also have this other nursery pot that is 9.5 inches that I could put it in. Every plant I have ever received in a nursery pot and these especially tends to spiral downwards so I was trying to stay away from these and plastic as much as possible.
This is my office snake plants love.
