I want to get a shelf for my plants at some point and I want to get a climbing plant that I can train to wrap around the shelf. Would pothos be a good plant to let the leaves trail down or let them climb up? What are some other plants that can do the same? I have an east facing sliding door so I get bright direct light in the morning and bright indirect during the rest of the day. However I do live in a rainy cloudy state most of the winter time.

    Strings of hearts would be a beautiful vining addition.

      I was thinking string of hearts or turtles! How easy/hard are they to take care of?

      I water mine once a week and fert once a month. They are pretty easy. Have my plants under a grow light because of lack of windows but yeah definitely get either turtles or hearts.. and don’t forget string of pearls are good too

    Pothos would absolutely be a perfect addition to a trailing shelf showcase! I second the comment above with the strings of things, too! There are also philodendron varieties that trail and look beautiful :)

    I think so too! Pothos are pretty hardy so I think they’ll do fine on the top of my shelf without a grow light.
