Hello. I just moved to a neighborhood where gardens are perfect and my flowers are looking down. I am not sure if I should trim them? Add a pole for support ? Why are they falling down ? 😭

They might just be drooping from needing some water in the recent heat waves. The leaves drooping on the laying over and the standing plants is a sign of drought stress in most plants. Give them a decent watering and wait 30 minutes, they might begin to pick back up. If not then maybe your support hypothesis is correct and they’re just too heavy

If they are too heavy you can cage them up. It's easier to do in the spring but I cage my peonies so they don't end up like that.

That looks like an Annabelle Hydrangea. This is typical when they are not pruned properly. They will fall over. It has nothing to do with watering. You can support the limbs with peony cages. Google the proper time in your zone for pruning. I cut mine back heavy last season and this year had no problem with tipping over. Also, educate yourself on propagation if you are not familiar. They are easy to propagate.

Couple weeks ago when we were hitting 100, I had to water my hydrangeas every day. They just look wilted to me. Give’em a good soak.
