First time propagating in perlite — do the roots look okay? Some are all white which is great, some start off black then turn white.

    if it’s rot or not doing good it will be mushy and have a gross smell otherwise looks good

    As for the darkness it could be a multitude of things just aging from growth exposure to air the roots hardening off which is lignification.

    I agree these look good! I have only successfully propagated scindapsus one time, in water... Maybe I'll try this next!
