I found these crawling in two of my plants so far. What are they and how can I get rid of them? Thank you in advance!

It looks like ants are making a home in your plant

Ants do not feed on plant roots. They may disturb the roots a bit if they're building a nest. This is more of a house problem then a plant problem. I could not see the picture clearly on my phone so I don't have any idea whether it was ants or not but going by other comments I'll go with ants. I would think if you took the pot to a sink or tub and flooded the pot, the ants would not like living there. If they return then you've got a house problem.

Yep, definitely ants. The easiest way to get rid of them is to take the plant outside, tap it on the ground a few times, just hard enough to scare the ants, and once they start coming out, wait while they leave on their own. Repeat tapping once every so often (maybe every hour or so) until no ants come out, then take the plant back inside. If the plant spent summer outside, the ants probably came in during that time. If it's been indoors the whole time, check your house for entry points
