i’ve had my prayer plant for about 3 months now and she’s doing really good and growing lil flower buds. but it’s seems like she’s getting bigger and taking up more space in the pot. should i repot her? if so, i’m new to plants so how?

Most plants don't like being repotted while they're flowering, but once the blooms are done you can do it. Increase pot size by one or two inches in diameter. Prayer plants need soil that drains well, so you can do a cactus mix or add some perlite to potting soil. To repot, fill the new pot about 1/4 of the way up and make a little hill of soil for the plant to sit on. Remove the plant from its old pot (don't pull the stems. Kind of flip it downwards, squish the sides of the pot to loosen it, and let gravity help you.) Gently remove some of the old soil from the root mass and check the health of the roots (just in case of root rot.) Loosen up the root mass and set the plant in it's new pot (you may have to add or remove soil to adjust how high it sits.) Then start adding soil in around it. When you get to the normal soil level, press down on the new dirt a bit to help it settle and add more if needed. Give it a thorough watering and put it back in the spot it likes. Be aware that many tropicals shock for a while after repots

Apologies for the long unbroken text; my version of the app won't do paragraph breaks for some reason

She looks fine for pot size. Maranta have delicate small roots so they are more sensitive to water! I would wait for her to either: Dry out before 1 week between watering Roots coming out of the bottom and top of pot
