Does anyone know how to get the Planta app to assume my plants are indoors? Planta is telling me it is time to bring my citrus tree indoors, but the location I have it listed in says indoors. That explains why it wanted me to water the plant every 4 days in the summer, but the reason I bought this app is to get accurate reminders. This seems like a bug in the software and I wonder if anyone knows a solution to this problem.

I don’t know. That’s weird. I’ve never had that happen. Double check that the site you’ve used for your plant is set to indoors. 🧐

If it’s telling you to “Prepare for Winter,” I think the instruction to bring indoors is built into the general description of winterizing. As for the watering every four days, you can ‘train’ the app by snoozing until it is ready for water; the app should learn a better staggering of care prompts that way. Best I’ve got 🤷‍♀️

I’ve had to train mine for almost every plant this way. As long as you’re keeping an eye on the plants and logging in the app when you water (whether or not the app is telling you it’s time) it will learn and adjust the schedule. Greg was so annoying because no matter how much you snooze the reminders it never learned the new schedule 😒

This app also has glitches. You can always reach out to the Planta team and inquire if you feel like there is a technical issue.

When you set up your site it should let you choose indoor or outdoor. Maybe that’s just premium. If you have the free app that might be why you can’t.

I do have the full version of the app and setup all my plants location as “indoor”. The only reason I wanted the app is to provide me with watering guidance, so it is annoying to learn the best option is to “train” the app. It sounds like it is a glitch in the programming. Thank for the suggestions.
