So pretty! I just recently got an African violet plant myself, how often would you say they bloom?๐Ÿ˜ and any tips for care? They look amazing

African violets can achieve a state of permanent blooming, but they need all of their needs to be met well to do that. In most cases, they'll bloom in spring and fall when the light and temperature combo is best for them. As for care, they do best with bottom-watering or a self-watering pot. If water gets on the leaves, dry it; fuzzy leaves are prone to rotting because they can trap moisture.

I agree with a lot of waspinatorโ€™s comment. It usually blooms twice a year. For me, I have a small grow light specifically for this plant. I water it once a week and avoid getting the leaves wet to prevent rot. Iโ€™ve found soil is a major player in the health- I use a custom mix of top soil, perlite, orchid bark, biochar, mushroom spores.

That violet looks great! You should consider taking it to shows

Beautiful! Question once they start to die is there any chance of coming back?
